Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are removable, discreet trays that gradually move your teeth into position. They can be an excellent option for many mild to moderate alignment problems, especially when appearance and flexibility are important.
Because aligners are removable, they also make brushing and flossing easier. However, they need to be worn consistently each day to work effectively.
Traditional Braces
Braces use brackets and wires to apply controlled pressure to the teeth. They can handle a wide range of orthodontic problems, including more complex movements and significant bite corrections.
While braces are more visible, they can provide precise control when teeth need substantial movement or when the bite requires careful adjustment.
Why Invisible Is Not Always Better
Clear aligners are popular, but discreet does not automatically mean suitable. Some cases require movements that are more predictable with fixed braces. In other situations, aligners may still be appropriate but require additional attachments, refinements, or a longer treatment plan.
That is why we do not recommend treatment based simply on appearance. We first assess your teeth, bite, and overall goals before choosing the most appropriate approach.
Choosing the Right Treatment
There is no single orthodontic solution that works best for everyone. During your consultation, we examine your smile, discuss your priorities, and explain the available options so you can make an informed decision.
The goal is not simply straighter teeth. It is a healthy, functional, and confident smile with a treatment plan designed specifically for you.
